Privacy Policy

We only collect information you actively give us through forms on the site. We do not run analytics, do not use third-party tracking, and do not set any non-essential cookies. Specifically, we collect:

• Volunteer application form: name, email, phone, age range, programs you're interested in, skills/availability, and how you heard about us.
• Event registration form: name, email, phone, number of attendees, dietary restrictions, and (only for youth-tagged events) your kids' ages.
• Contact form: name, email, and the message you send us.
• Admin accounts: email and a hashed password — only for HQ staff who manage the site.

We use the information you submit to respond to you, coordinate the program you signed up for, and run HQ. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers. We do not send marketing emails — only direct replies and confirmations related to what you submitted.

Information you submit is visible to:

• HQ staff and program leads who need it to run programs.
• The third-party services we use to operate the site: Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Vercel Blob (file storage), and Zeffy (donations only). Each handles your data subject to their own privacy practices.
• Authorities, only if we are legally required to disclose it.

We never share volunteer or event registration information with other community members without your consent.

We keep form submissions for as long as they're useful for the purpose you submitted them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below, and we'll do so within 30 days unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

We use a single functional cookie to remember your preferred language. That's it. No analytics, no ad tracking, no third-party cookies.

Donations are processed by Zeffy. We do not see or store your payment information. Zeffy issues tax receipts directly to you. Their privacy practices are governed by Zeffy's own privacy policy at zeffy.com.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Some of our programs serve youth; in those cases, we collect kids' ages on event registration forms submitted by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site without parental consent, please contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll note the date at the top whenever we do.
